g7 is really becoming a group of seven now ! Attendance is shrinking, blog is dying, everyone is flying. We made the gathering a little late, Sharen and Chubs already flew back, and Bing Chi went back straight away to Terengganu as soon she hit KL soil. ( reminds me, call me when you're in KL again, like the last time ). Seems that Melissa is becoming a part of g7 !
For now this is a photo of us. Yes picture quality is bad, ( the waiter guy say my camera no good....Huey Shean please upload your nicer photo from our same model camera)I think he snapped too early without waiting for the focus to come on, so it ended up choppy quality. I seldom take pictures of people with my camera...so lighting effects etc and faces, I'm not too sure how they blend together yet ! Cam whores , if you will, please write a tiny one paragraph tutorial for me.
Last time we met was in March 2007, so it has really been a year...amazing isn't it, 3 years later and we still know each other ! We made an effort to turn up, and thats good enough. IMU-meds will be flying off most probably August September,(Europe) and maybe a bit later for the Australia-bound ones. Tigress wants to go to UK since her sisters are there (beware, British males), me, Ireland hopefully since my brother is there. Might change though, since he is graduating in June...mana tahu never graduate hahah *choi*. EU ruling and crap, so those bound there think whether we'll get jobs after graduating, or come home as kelefeis...(yes Jo Kien..not kalafay) and get bullied by nurses.Huey Shean ( her hair gets nicer each time I see her ) will be gone in June to whisky land, and Carrot to Australia soon as well. Jo Kien will be anchored here, and Jun Mun will be planting his nuts back in Malaysian soil soon ( he didn't want to stay in India working at vasectomy camps ).Anyone wanting a friend with benefits, find Jo Kien, he's an ardent supporter of vasectomies. No risk with him. Mels flapping off to Australia as well, possibly to see Carrot there.
Proudly Malaysian, we met in front of Fish n Co at 13:45, and decided against eating there ( I tend to always order the same thing, so the variety seems small to me, whereas in fact its decent ). Went to Zuup, a place with a funny waiter. Our friend once asked for something quick n warm, he said hot water. The girls as usual, took slightly longer than the guys to decide on what to eat. Talked bout many issues old to new, from Banu the stairs climber to new ideas for Valentine's gifts ( no matter what you say, I'm certain somebody out there will appreciate my bouquet of cactus, lalang, and money trees ). Though we have all chosen our paths, I sometimes wonder what we all would have done if we weren't doing what we were now. Interesting hm? Maybe I'll try my hand at it after I'm successful next time, which I'm sure we all will be. Maybe we should all chip in for a bottle of wine and open it years later eh?
So, to those reading it, please do edit this post and throw in your views,versions of todays meetings, or flashbacks, reviews on g7 after all this time !
