The Story Of My Toe!!

Hey!! I know this is really really late.. but its better late than never.. so anyway... I know some of you know that i had my big toe nail on my right foot removed due to in-growth nail.. so i have decided to show you all some pics of it..hope none of you all are gross out or anything.. if you happen to have a weak heart and about to eat.. i am so so sorry..but i dont think its that gross.. just a bit bloody... hehehe.. so enjoy them!!

Okay.. the first pic is taken after i got back from the clinic.. my foot had to be bandaged a lot as the doctor was trying to stop the blood from flowing out.. i dont what is wrong with me.. but i seem so have difficulty in clotting blood.. so.. yeay..as you can see.. i loose a lot of blood on my toe.. and i had to put my foot up like the whole time so that i will reduce the blood flow to my foot.. and worse when i really need to study.. and ya.. studying with your foot in the air is NOT easy..

oh ya.. in case you all wondering how they take out the toe nail.. it goes like this.. first the put two anaestatic (i think it spelled wrongly).. one on each side of my toe.. apparently there is this nerve there.. so ya.. then i feel a bit numb.. however.. being so nervous.. i insist that the doctor gave me another one as i still can feel my toe.. so he gave me another one on each side.. by then.. i cannot feel my toe anymore.. it feels like jelly..

the part where he pull my toe nail out.. i didnt see.. i couldnt not bare it.. i was already freaking out.. hehehe.. ya ya.. i know.. me being a future doctor should not be afraid.. but hey.. this is my toe.. MY VERY OWN TOE... so i was getting all this pychology effect on my mind that i dont want to think about... i guess if it was someone else's toe.. i will be delighted to watch.. but not mine.. this not the same when you see your toe nail being pulled out.. i asked to doctor how he is going to do that and he say.. just pull out.. everything.. even its root.. GROSS!!

so anyway.. the process was fast.. i didnt feel a thing at all.. and i turned away.. did not see anything.. so dont ask me what i saw.. all i know is after i turn back.. its already cover with cotton.. but i see my blood dripping.. then the doctor put more tissue.. the tissue got soaked in blood.. he change a new one.. but it got soaked again.. well yeah.. i used a lot of tissue.. and i can see that my doctor is worried cos my blood is not clotting.. its taking longer than usual.. then he decided to bandage it tightly.. then quickly covered my toe.. then ya.. told me to put my foot up.. and dont put any weight on it.. then he said.. you go back.. lie down.. and dont move around.. if still bleeding... you call me..

So poor me.. hop out of the clinic and into the car.. and went home.. and yup.. lucky for me.. it clotted well after like an hour.. sad case.. maybe i should it more potassium or was it calcium.. hehhe.. just to improve my clotting factor.. yikes.. i think i crap too much d.. but at least i entertain you all with some story.. hehehe.. anyway.. sleeping at night was terrible... i cant cover my foot with my comforter for i fear that i might hurt my toe.. then and ya.. my mum kept checking on me to make sure i am not bleeding anymore....

okay.. so end of my day one.. the next morning.. everything dried up.. and this is how it looks.. and it is hard by then.. me busy tapping my toe just to make sure that its still alive.. hehehe


Two days later.. i had to go back to the clinic to remove my bandage.. however.. i took it out at home.. cos i refuse to let the doctor yanked to the bandage of.. mind you.. its still very painful.. so there i was.. sitting on my cushion.. soaking my foot into salty warm water.. busy removing the bandage.. and yup.. blood do smell.. especially when it is alot.. ok ok.. i admit!! i almost pass out when i was removing the bandage.. wanted to puke.. as i was so scared on how my toe will look.. with the horrible smell of blood.. plus me not eating properly( no appetite).. so i had to lay back and stop whatever i was doing.. the best moment was when i remove the final bandage.. by then i was EWWW!! so ugly.. eheheh.. and this is how it looks..

okay.. the picture looks better then when i just remove the bandage as this is dry already.. the extra wound on the top left toe is cause by excess growth of my flesh.. so my nail went under that.. heheh.. didnt know how useful is nails to make my toe look prettier..

anyway.. few days later.. it dried up.. and looks better.. here goes the pic..

aww.. dont my toe look prettier now.. ehheehe.. the first few days.. i have difficulty walking.. i didnt know that when there is no nail.. your toe feels like a chuck of flesh..like jelly.. no base at all to give it a good stucture.. so.. you feel funny when walking.. but got used to it.. and thank goodness i took the stupid nail out before i go for my hols.. if not.. i will be crying everytime i knock something.. the stupic nail cos me so much pain to the extend i cant even wear covered shoe.. and had to use sandals and slipper.. so the lesson to be learn people is CUT YOUR TOE NAIL PROPERLY!! dont be like ME who dont cut her toe nail but rip them off!! ehhehe.. woah.. very long my post.. so.. tata for now.. me tired d.. got so irritated when uploading the pics... or maybe cos i very unprofessional at it.. will post some pics up on my trip to UK.. see my mood lar.. ehhehe.. ADIOS!!
